Everyone deserves to live in a healthy and safe environment. That environment includes where you live, work, play, and pray. We reject and actively push back against racist rhetoric, actions, policies and institutional oppression that leads to state-sanctioned brutality, gun violence, and harm that again and again assaults communities of color. We are committed to working for justice and equity, and are in solidarity with social, racial, and environmental justice organizations to build community, understanding and honest dialogue to address the root causes of violence, harm and hate.

End toxic secrets in period products

Take Action for Safer Period Products – Support the Menstrual Products Right to Know Act!

Legislation has been introduced that will require ALL manufacturers of tampons, pads, menstrual cups and period underwear to disclose ingredients! Introduced by Representative Grace Meng (D-NY), the Menstrual Products Right to Know Act (H.R. 2268) will help put an end to these labeling secrets!

Raise your voice to make sure this legislation passes!

Tampons and pads can contain undisclosed ingredients linked to cancer, reproductive harm, and irritation. With full ingredient disclosure you can avoid ingredients that may harm your health or cause irritation.

It is almost hard to believe that most makers of tampons, pads, period underwear, and menstrual cups do not disclose ingredients in these products on the label or a website. Testing shows that period products can contain undisclosed ingredients linked to cancer, reproductive harm, and irritation. With full ingredient disclosure you can avoid ingredients that may harm your health or cause irritation. Tell your representative to support your right to know what’s in these products.

Within the last few years, you’ve moved period care products giants to start disclosing ingredients. Now it’s time ALL companies are required to provide this information to all people who menstruate!

Great mission! I’ll be signing some petitions. Quick suggestion – include incontinence products and you may have a new cohort of supporters to this cause.
