WVE testing detects undisclosed VOCs in tampons

A US NGO is backing legislation requiring manufacturers to list the ingredients in menstrual products, after a study found that popular tampon brands contained undisclosed chemicals.

Women Voices for the Earth is supporting a bill introduced by New York Assembly member Linda B Rosenthal (D/WF–Manhattan), which would require disclosure of ingredients in tampons, pads, menstrual cups and period underwear.
