SC Johnson (makers of such brands including Windex and Glade) has a process for evaluating chemical safety—a trademarked process called GreenlistTM. And SCJ loves to holds up its GreenlistTM process as evidence of its product safety. The problem is, they don’t tell us how they define “safe”.
We know the company still uses synthetic musks, chemicals linked to breast cancer! Which makes us wonder: how can hormone-disrupting chemicals like those be considered “safe”?
