Thank you for signing our petition, telling SC Johnson to eliminate the toxic fragrance chemical, Galaxolide, from its products. SC Johnson is one of just six manufacturers in the US importing and using this high production volume (HPV) chemical. The company uses it in everything from Windex to Pledge, Scrubbing Bubbles, Shout! and Glade air fresheners. Studies show this chemical is not only of concern to human health, but is also highly toxic to aquatic life. Which is especially concerning when we know this chemical is ending up in the Great Lakes.
